Does anybody know a keen mountain biker who owns or works at an auto body shop and is interested in contra? I currently have a lot of great stuff to trade, and a daughter who is learning to drive!

Mike Mooney rides and I think owns one of the North Shore auto body shop. They did a good repair on my Element years ago.

LOL. Nothing too dramatic POZ but a couple of scrapes for sure. We might have hit a stone wall with me riding shotgun. Luckily the sidewalk wasn't littered with babies and we didn't hit too hard.

Thanks Andy. Mike is a friend of a friend so I'll get in touch with him. A good start.

That’s good that no one is hurt. Perhaps shaken up.

This just gives me added anxiety about doing this myself in 8 years when my oldest gets there.

You must need a lot of body work done if you’re willing to trade your daughter for it!

I was only kidding about the anxiety part, but kicked out @ 17 yrs so I never got my learners or was taught by my parents, then could never afford a vehicle so never bothered, 20 years later here we are.

This is the mountain bike equivalent of the dad that gives his kidney to his daughter. Except you are giving bike parts, and not so she can live, but drive. None the less painful for the dad though.....

Way to be a great dad. My dad didn't freak out when I put a ding in his car door. I thought I was in so much trouble buy he was cool. He didn't trade bike parts though, he just called his insurance company.

Buying a $900 beater is probably the cheapest way to go.
