Saddle - whatever's on sale that is larger than 142mm width

Pedals - Flat: Chromag Dagga, have them on two bikes right now, they are great

Pedals - Clip: Time Speciale 8 or 12, depending on what I can get a good price on at the time of building up the bike

Currently paying close attention to saddle choices.  My butt seems to have stopped liking my go-to saddles lately :(

Trailmaster For MTB and Flite for road / gravel are my usuals.

I see your not as "princess and the pea" as I am.

Mind you, I recently rented a DH bike at WBP and got along splendidly with all touch points.  Maybe the more squish you got, the less touch points are a concern.  Hmm.

the really slim ODI Ruffian lock-ons and then I depend on the padding of a watson work glove

the WTB Speed is medium wide medium padding and is my go to

I was using the WTB Volt thinking it was my go to but realized it was painful

but really both are entirely subjective choices

Grip - Chromag Clutch

Saddle - Chromag Trailmaster LTD

Pedal - One-up Flats (I have both the composite and alloy versions - I prefer the look of the alloy versions but the composite ones are way better value and don't creak. They feel pretty much the same).

Grip - ESI chunky

Saddle - Selle Italia Turbo (as simple as possible, saddle "features" annoy me)

Pedal - XTR XC (smaller is better when pushing through the bush)

The asses here have probably all been on a lot of saddles. All the saddles listed above were well liked liked by my butt anyhow. Trailmaster got moved to a few different bikes.

Last couple years I've been buying Specialized. Bridge is my favorite saddle I've owned up to this point out of all the saddle brands and models I've tried. Mine is a fat ass 155 I believe. I don't think I'll be experimenting anymore honestly.

Ditto grips, I've spent so much time and money trying so many grips, and there are loads of good ones. The last few pairs I've bought were all thick soft Deathgrips. Think I'm done searching there too.

Pedals I've done hardly any experimenting, rode the same few low profile concave flats happily for eons. Last while I've been clipped in with Mallets and they feel like home to me. For flats Vaults were the last two pairs I bought, though from my current clipped-in perspective all flats now feel like a step down in performance for almost all riding.

Grips: Prefer Odi's small diamond shapes, but anything would work

Saddle: Chromag Trailmaster for me as well. Would like to try the Lift for comparison.

Pedals: RF Atlas V2, altho it might be "too much grip" for me. Also been trying Spank Spikes for a little less grip, maybe like those even more.

Grip - Race Face Chester 34mm

Love the combination of overall soft feel with the slot/flange to keep my hands in the right position

Saddle - Specialized Power Arc Expert 155

After fighting with saddles for a long time, these just work. I’ve been experimenting with a Power Pro (non arc) and a Chromag Mood DT for some bikes and situations.

Pedals - Wolf Tooth Waveform for flats, Shimano XT for clipless.
