I've been wearing these for the past 2 seasons and love 'em! super comfy and don't really move at all!
They are always the last peice of gear I end up removing as they just don't bother me at all. I'm really pleased with all my rockgardn gear!

I like your ghetto style rewoga. I do.
How much is a pair? Preferrably in Green or Babyblue….
They had them on for cheap at Cove last week (Thursday). I think they were $65.
Maybe on their website?

yeah those look nice, i just got a set of rockgardn arms and can't wait to try them out. i have some old beastgear legs that are starting to die and i dont like the new stuff so may give the rockgardn legs a shot.
I find knee/shin combo pads always move around (usually conveniently exposing the knee area) unless you get the fit perfect so I've resorted to running Rector Fatboy skateboard knee pads (the best IMO) and pulling my socks up when I need that extra shin protection.

Kevlar socks?
I had the raceface Rally shins and I found the build quality wasn't the best (the stitching failed) and they were bulky and hot. They did stay in place though. When I did Interbike in 05, I picked up a pair of Fox Launch Pads, and they lasted me until a couple of months ago when I replaced them with the same pad. They are light, cool and offer awesome protection while still allowing you to pedal. They are very open on the back, so you may want to consider something else if that's a problem.
Welcome back Big!
Locally, who carries Fox armour? I should go take a look at them.

I got mine at BSP, but I've seen it in a few stores.

I'll second them there pads, light, tough, don't move and very quick to put on with the quick clip crossover straps.
Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.
Is Beastgear out of business? The website does not work for me…damn, now I am in for some new, the threads on my very old Roach (the all black ones with protection at the calves…) are coming loose…:(

i own that, it is good, sometimes it cuts you(the crossover straps), but it's minor thing.
I'd recommend the shorty launch.
I wear the ghetto

I have the Launch Shorty (they're not that short - just stop a bit higher above your ankle) and they are very light while seemingly offering decent protection around the knee. I find them comfortable and cool (which is a big plus for me - my legs overheat easily) and they don't move around.
The only concern I have with them is that, due to the fact that they extend quite high above the knee, my shorts sometimes get snagged in them, especially if I do any pedalling. It's not dangerous or anything - I just feel like a bit of a tit riding around with my shorts tucked into my pads.
Here's the difference between the Launch and the Shorty:
The TLD Lopes do look very interesting. Why white plastic though?
