how about Sigmas? Are they reliable and functional on the Shore?

I saw a 5w LED for about $120, 3.5 hr run time. The lumen seemed roughly equal to a 50w halogen but I don't really know much about lumen, lux, candlepower etc… I know that I had a 20w halogen before and it was adequate so if $120 will get me a new light thats 2.5 times brighter and lighter with longer run times, that sounds pretty good. And at that price I could always buy a second one later

blinded by the photo

Do you use a trailer for the battery pack?

Please let me demonstrate the ride around; really it's no trouble.

Not the packs I've designed. 3 packs 2.5 lbs total. 50 min run-time on the 16.8V 50Ws and 5 hours on the LED.

7 hours run time on my HID on the bars.

On tonight's ride I will have a little excessive light.

I'll try to take a picture in the rain.

just a heads up fellas, in case it never occurred to you… a good plave to look for batteries and chargers.

When i was building these things (before the popular use of halogens and LEDs) i would go to my RC battery pack collection. haven't looked through in years, but i suppose they have what you want in a nice shrink wrapped package.

also i never found a better method than basically using the front of shitty flashlight. light, small, and easily manipulatable. Although i can imagine getting really into the design and making some baller systems.
