I've got to admit. The marketing of the Scott Genius 27.5+ bikes have me drooooling. Anyone here tried the plus size wheels yet? Looks to be a great all around choice for our area (unlike a fatbike.)

wont climbing on fat tires suck luck it did when I ran dual Michelin 2.8s with 16 PSI
yeah, 2.8-3.0 range tires, but much lighter that those old michys. i'd give them a go on a hardtail for a bit of extra cush. not sure they would benefit racer types, but may be fine on the average joe playbike. and the backcountry adventure touring niche, of course. for $3k, this new devinci looks like good times:

Yes, like 10-15 psi.
and they dont climb like crap? thats pretty amazing.
Yes. Have them on a hardtail. Roll just as fast as a normal tire but the cornering/climbing grip improvement is really noticeable. Running Maxxis chronicles at 15 psi.
