Can't wait till I see these show up. Then we will have a full shit show on our local trails. Has a crankset, see these guys pedal it at all? Nope

Ya they didn't pedal once. Guess those have a throttle as well LOL. #throttlegrip
I don't really have a problem with the pendelecs but I'm pretty sure this is why Evergreen trail assn pushed to not have ebikes on 80% of their trails in Washington state. The line in the sand on what is ok is too smeared. Only going to get worse in the years to come with the cross over moto/mtbs coming to market. Husquvarna has one for sale which is IMO just a step away from being a full dirtbike. Now the dirtbike companies are making them is it still a bicycle?

I think the Husky E mountain bikes are showing where things are headed. I suspect in a couple years we see long travel, 29 front 27 rear, dropper post with decent gear spread, pedal assist.
The full on throttle electric will be the kook bikes and will be banned from most riding destinations.
Also heard the local motorcycle super store will be stocking Giant brand electric bikes. Now the IBDs gets to compete with brands selling direct and a different industry that has your product.

Who is going to ban a bike that has a crankset, throttle button and pendelec? The road versions are ok so why not on the trails? That will be the argument

And the brand you carry also having it’s own store a la Giant
Yamaha has a bike as well. I’ve posted it before
Funny thing. About May last year some local rider suggested after getting left for dead in March 2019 by the hit and run driver I can now invest in a eMTB. Can't recall exactly my response but he and I don't interact anymore. Riding well this year with a fucked up right knee and various other issues. Oh, and beat his ass on three sections on our local trails.
I see a sudden spike in ebike sales happening

I walked by a shop earlier this week and the only bikes they had in that $3000+ category were e-bikes. Is this the new normal or Covid caused?

Some surfer/IG influencer is paid to ride a similar thing to that. I looked it up, $12k USD 😂 I’ll just buy a 300hp Sea-Doo for that price and be slightly less of a kook.
