Hey Evil Owners,

I am looking at the Following from Fanatik as one of my new bike options. How did you import the bike? Did you have to pay WA sales tax, and then GST when you brought it across the border? Better to just buy the frame and build the bike with parts from other sources.

Any other tips or tricks?

Exchange rate makes me want to cry a bit, but nothing we can do about that.

Appreciate any help.

You know you're tall when your 29er looks like a 26er.

And oh yeah, that's sexy.

Wrong. Always.

One might bring their parts to Fanatik to have it built up then go ride Galbraith. One would then simply be returning home to Canada after a satisfying bike ride.

One might also find some other dude's digits in one's bunghole if one were to be caught doing some such thing…

Ride, don't slide.

Sweet.
Let me know if you come over to the SSC or next time I head into Van I'll bring my bike.

Have you done any back to back rides between the Wreckoning and the Nomad?

Anyone selling Evil in Canada now?

Definitely would like to avoid the said digits in the said place. Have had bad experiences at the border in the past and not looking for a repeat.

I notice that WA and Albetra have a sales tax agreement so might look at routing it through Calgary and see if that helps avoid the WA sales tax.

Thx for the help

Ya but they do have images of your vehicle, bikeless and then no so bikeless. Better to bring the old complete, switch parts, ride, drive back with the new complete and the old frame chucked in back. Long day!

Haven't done back to back yet. Nobody sells Evil in Canada.

as for the boarder stuff. I just paid. You only pay GST on bike parts. I think it was $200. Not worth getting in a whole pile of shit for

This sort of thinking might be part of it.
