Anybody flown with a BOB trailer, obviously its an extra piece of luggage to deal with so it costs mo money?
I will update that my touring bike is dialed, as far as I'm concerned. It's also my city bike. I think it could go anywhere at this point, provided it doesn't get too technical. And it's comfortable as hell.
What kind of front rack is that?

Yes..and yes.
I wrapped a cardboard box around it and it flew as extra/oversized luggage.
Another reason why I just use panniers now. I can attach them together and they fly as checked luggage.
Vancouver to Calgary
14 days
1,446km
36,748 feet of elevation gain
9 beers
5 Warmshowers stays
0 flat tires
In summary, too many KM in too few days, and definately a beer deficiency. Highlights include Kootenay National Park.

Nice one!
but how do you come back now???
Sadly, one hour via Westjet.

Sounds like a great trip! :rave:
My only concern is the # of beer imbibed. That's cutting it awful close to being sober all the time. :orly:

Salsa Down Under - they have remodeled their front rack since though.

Anyone have any recommendations for a stove [HTML_REMOVED] cookset for bikepacking?
Brands [HTML_REMOVED] models? (searched the threads for any mention of stove and didn't find anything)
Any to specifically avoid?
One thing I've found in the past is that the vibration from biking can kill equipment that would be fine when hiking.
whisperlite stove
i'm sure there are lighter/better/more-bikepacking-specific options out there, but i got my first one as a camp counselor 20 years ago, and i don't think i've ever even considered buying/using anything else
edit: that said, if i was going to the back of the beyond, i would consider taking a trangia instead for sheer bomb- and idiot-proofness

Alcohol stove. You can make 'em for free and pretty hard to damage other than by stepping on them…in which case make another one!
