so if 650b is the perfect wheel size and plus tires are the new best thing then how long untill were riding 26 Inch wheels with 3 inch tires again.

now that I'm not worried about airtime and have reverted to my old xc (we used to call it mtn biking then down hillers showed up with all their coolness) styles, I'm finding todays trails bikes are the bikes we wished had been invented back in 92. such a nice time to pedal bikes around.

So, looks as though a 2.8 should fit in a standard 27.5 fork, no? If I can squeeze one in the back………anyone make + tyres in gumwall?

It's funny, right? It's like every 10 years "The Industry" remembers that most folks like a bike that climbs decently and is fun to descend on. The first few years of freeride, the birth of the trail bike, the first few years of "enduro"…

…I wonder what cute name they'll come up with next time. I bet the bikes will be A-MAY-ZING (no sarc.), 'cause this round of "do everything well" bikes is pretty darned fantastic.
