This is a tough one but from specs alone, I'd go for the Gran Mal. On top of that, the gran mal still looks new.

I read teh for sale post on buy [HTML_REMOVED] Sell. If you go with the Gran Mal, make sure he brings it across the border to you. You don't want to get stuck paying extra becuase the border guard wonders why you only spent 2 hours in the states.

Am I missing something or does everyone think the gran mal is a Single Pivot?

If it makes your choice any easier, I sold my Gran Mal for way less than it was worth on Sunday because I had to avoid a fat fuckin finance charge from my CC.

I would find another Gran Mal. They're great frames.

I love my Devinci, I would totally recomend it. It's great for DH/Free ride pedals well, and is really tough! not to mention Canadian.

I think that would definitely make his choice easier.

It is a single pivot.

Well isn't that odd, maybe I'm special or something but I seem to be able to count four pivots? 4 doesn't equal 1 last time I checked. Good try though.
