IF you can find one, get yourself a Mavic XY. I've been running mine for 2 years now of heavy street use and lots of trail rides as well. Still going strong with not even a slight wobble to it, and I'm also not a small guy either (200lbs). They're a bitch to find nowadays, but if you can find one go for it.
Great rim, but not as strong as a doubletrack or Arrow dhx.
Grab the Doubletrack if you want to cheap out, it will last. If you want probally the best rim you can buy, get the Arrow. The arrow is $100+ though, and the DT is only $50.
