Stolen from Whistler: Norco Six

STOLEN on August 12th.

At rest under a large blanket, in the back of my alarmed car, parked
in a "secure" underground lot, in Whistler - BUT not safe.
Please keep your eye out for my favorite ride:

2006 NORCO SIX, XS, black and all CUSTOM SPEC'D as follows:

Fork: 2006 Marzccchi Bomber F1, single crown, regular axle, 150 mm travel.
Brakes: Shimano Saint, 6" rotors front and rear
Levers: Shimano Saint
Shifters: Shimano XT
Cranks: Shimano XT, 170mm
Rear hub and Rear derailleur: Shimano Saint
Front hub: Shimano XT
Tires: Nevegal 2.5 stickee on front, 2.35 stickee on rear

Also, Shimano, Saint and Kenda stickers on rear chainstays. Yellow
Poison Spider sticker on top tube.

With all due respect…underground lots, and parking lots in general are workshops for car thieves (and the dirt bags who break into them). You can't leave a CD behind, let alone a bike, and not expect to lose it. Nothing is secure in a parking lot unless you are in the car with it.

If you don't have bike insurance, get it.

will keep my eye open, dual 6 inch rotors on a 6by is rare, key feature in finding it., most times atleast a 8 up front.

If you live on your own and rent or own, you can get it on your home/renters insurance. If you live at home, get your parents to put it on.

It isn't cheap, but it costs a lot less than losing a $5000 toy does. Typically its about $4-6 for every $100 you want to insure (for the year, and you can pay it monthly).

I have my bikes insured and pay about $40 a month for it. I went through Dominion of Canada for mine, they were a good deal at the time.

Hope you find it… got mine stolen back in Toronto from the bed of my truck under a fiberglass tonneau cover, under a blanket. They didn't even know what they had gotten as they broke into the other cars as well. When I went to get the survalence camera tape… Or sorry that was broken and wasn't taping!
