Stem Question?

I have a GIANT AC1 and it has a cheap stem. Its a Titec. What is a good stem to purchase. I am not a proffesional so I just need a good stem for some hill riding. I would like to get a new set of bars also. Any help will be usefull thanks

that's not really enough info to make a recommendation. are you looking to save weight or have a strong stem? how much will you spend? do you need to climb, or are you just downhilling?

I guess I need one for small jumping and up and down hill climbing. I live in the south so there is not much downhill. I would like to get something used on ebay. There are many many on there and I was not sure which to buy. thanks Eric

What's wrong with the Titec? For "small jumping and up and down hill climbing" I think the Titec will be just fine. The only reason to get a new stem would be if you want it longer or shorter….
