so the valve just snapped off..

i went to put my bike together for a ride,(i take the wheels off to put it in my moms trunk) and i realize my front tire is flat, and i was riding around on it the night b4 perfectly fine , then im in the car on my way to john henry and im taking off my tire to get to the tube and i unsrewed the valve cp but b4 i got it all the weay offf the whole thing just snapped right off!! i think its becuse of old age or something , the tube has been in there since i bought the wheel, but then i put my new tube in and i cant get the tire all the way back on:( im soweak:( i was wondering if you have any tips on getting it back on.. i tried for a long time and i have my leavers and everything but it just wont work! :cry: u can make fun of me now..

im cunfuzzled use flat screwdriver I use my rear skewer it works perfectly

ive tried that, but it just scratches the shit out of my rim..

Umm try doing very small bits at a time or use 2 at the same spot.. what tire/rim is it?

soap should lube up the rim and make the tire go on way easier
