The dropper is on there because it is the only 27.2 post I had in my parts bin - and it's a thompson. It is external cable routing so you can just reach down and trigger it. Wolf tooth has an adapter for 31.8 bars that I considered buying but I figured I'd see how often I use it before buying an over priced bar clamp. Turns out I don't actually like descending with the seat down on this bike; I think you need side knobs in order to lay a bike down into a corner.

Hell yeah. Mine was a hard tail Marin Quake with first gen Super T's and white double-wides. Broke two head tube welds before selling the second warranty frame and moving onto full suspension bikes.

The cardinal rule of rear fenders has always been that it has to reach the rear most tangent of the tire. This is the downside to mudhuggers, they really only lessen how much your ass gets splattered. I find the mudhuggers are good on 27.5 but don't really work great on 29. My wife won't ride in the wet unless she has a chance of staying reasonably mud free so I extended hers with a marshguard (they don't really do anything on the front, might as well use it on the back. This very long looking fender actually works.

same as yours. A nut and bolt. Doesn't get stuck in the tire. It's probably much further out from the tire as it is a 29 and yours is a 26 version. It can make a little rattle now and then. Experimenting with some epoxy between the fender and extension.

Behold my latest creation! As well as a custom mod to my new B-RAD 4 system so I can mount 2 bottles on my Primer. They put three bottle boss bolts on the primer so with the B-RAD 4, all I need do is bolt the B-RAD to the frame and I have enough purchase to mount two bottles without having to use any zap-straps or anything. The only issue was there was no hole in the B-RAD where I needed it so I had to do some precision drilling to countersink the third bottle boss bolt into the B-RAD.

Nice work on the dual bottle hack. Those Wolf Tooth bits and bobs can come in real handy for stuff like that.

Nice flaps, but you gotta trim that marsh guard. Its gonna grap your leg every time you throw your leg over. 

If you are already drilling holes, I can't say enough good things about my little extender on the front as well!

I just installed a Mudhugger fender on my friend's RSD Wildcat V2. This is the new "large" version. It's ~4.5" longer than the old "29er" version on my Cotic posted up-thread. They also changed the size of the ziptie slots so you can use normal zipties instead of hunting for thinner ones. I think the new "medium" fender is the same size as the old  "29er" fender, but I haven't verified that yet.

Might as well post this here.  Yes it looks odd, but been on more bikes than I can remember  SKS rear fender.  Works well, easy to remove when the trails are drier. this is usually positioned closer to the tyre, but tends to have a mind of its own.

So I was bothered by the fact my CC Helm 2 has bolt holes for a fender but no fenders out there other than a $140 Carbon Wasp one from the UK. In my LBS the other day and they had a Syncros Fox 34/36 that looked like it could work with some mods. 

I had to cut the sides a bit by the fork seals, drill a new center hole, and create a slice on each side so I could bend it down then use hot glue to hold in place. Turns out the bolt hole in the Helm is the same as a rotor bolt. 

It turned out really well in my opinion and I’m pretty pumped on this mod. I would have preferred a slightly longer one but it’ll do for my needs in the okanagan. We used to have a thread on here on mods but I cannot find it
