shortcage rear

what kind of setup do i need to run to allow me to run a shortcage rear der, do i need to run a double up front, or can i justy be careful with my triple and not use too much chain, and do i need to run a small cassette or will my 11-32 work?

help, i need to order some shit before the days over

You should be fine with your cassette. As for rings, I would probably only run 2 rings. If you run 3 chainrings, avoid cross-chaining the big ring and 32 tooth sprocket. Should you cross it up, you run the risk of busting your chain, bendig a ring or sprocket and possibly damaging the derailleur.

1ring up front and everything is tight as a…well I dont wanna get too crude but very tight and responsive. notching down into the lowwer ring and things bounce LOADS. your best to stay long cage if you want to use two rings really,unless the small ring is simply for getting back up and wont be used in hits or nothing. hope that helps
