So the riding seasons coming to an end and time for new goodies for the bikes. im looking at the saint m810 and m820 brakes for the dh bike. Is there any reason i should spend the extra for the new m820 brakes. and anywhere they.re on for cheap?
shaman saint m810 or m820
Check out jensonusa.com. they price match anything.
I have the 2012 set and they are amazing. I couldnt ask for anything more.
I was fine with my old ghetto brakes i just got these to match the rest of my kit.
Brakes are just brakes, shouldnt even be really using them besides for when you get to the end of the trail right?
superheros
I like bikes
I can vouch for the Zees… excellent power just a bit less adjustability than the Saints… but as I understand it the servo wave adjustment on the Saints is gimmicky anyway.

Don't buy from Jenson USA, they won't price match Chain Reaction Cycles which is much cheaper.

the gold accents looks so nice tho…

Have you even tried the Saint, or just Zee?
The tool free lever adjustment on the Saints is nice. I've come to appreciate that feature on every brake that has it. I like my brakes to engage with the lever relatively close to the bar.
Whether you like it or not, sometimes your brakes are going to feel different or uneven, and with just a quick turn of a knob you can have them feeling just how you want.
The gold at the caliper is the banjo, which is longer on the Saints and therefore has better cooling capacity. At the launch they had numbers (degrees cooler) for all this stuff, but I didn't take photos of every slide.
I was impressed with the XTs I ran on the Sight. So impressed I was able to get over their garish looks and accept them for good stoppers. Lever adjustment dial was nice touch as well
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Yeah, that's my biggest complaint too. The chrome was tacky.
