school me on headsets

I think they're all pretty good these days. I like the came creek 40 because they are easy to get crown races forbid you swap forks, have additional sealing at the crown race, and are reasonably priced. Not the cheapest bit solidly in the middle.

Pretty impressed with the Hope HS that came with my G16 frame.  I like the Head Doctor instead of a star nut and the split crown race.  

Other bikes run CC110 and CC40.  I'd say CC110 would be a better HS if it used a split crown race.

did you experiance  head set loosening off ?

all the star nut is suposed to do is help you adjust the head set, but if the stem keeps slipping a headlock device will work

I've used an Azonic headlok which is basicly just a long bolt to clamp the head set together

I run cane creek headsets with hope star nuts(that u don't pound in) works well
