Santa Cruz Hightower in XXL size. Which rack?

I'm getting the above bike which has such a long wheelbase that my current bike rack (NSR4) won't work anymore. There simply isn't enough height clearance in my underground parking garage due to a spiders web of sprinklers and a steep downhill approach which means I cannot lower the rack without the wheel skimming the ground.

So, I'm gonna have to change racks to a tray mount style but my research suggests some of these have a max allowable wheelbase length (which my bike will exceed).

So...my question is: anyone got one of these bikes plus a tray style rack?

(Actually I know there's at least one rider out there with both as I saw him and chatted briefly at Hyannis a couple of weeks ago! If anyone knows him and/or which rack he uses, let me know!)

I'm curious how strict the max wheelbase length restriction is as several racks permit up to 48" but the bike has a 49" wb

Gawd help me wrestling the bike up the Christmas Corners on GSM, but that's another subject altogether...

Thanks!

I wondered if the G16 would fit on the NSR4 and it does. I also don't deal with undergrounds so +1

My Pole is so long that I had to remove my tonneau cover because my back wheel would hit it when it was rolled up.

685mm TT is the XL Hightower...the XXL I'm getting is 692mm!!

But useful to know the T2 works for you. I guess I'll wait until I actually have the bike then take it over to Rack Attack and try a couple for size.

Dropping another $700+ on a new rack wasn't really part of the budget I had in mind when getting a new bike!

Thule T2 will work. I have an XXL Tallboy3 with decent room to spare. Come to think of it, I demoed an XXL HTLT and it went on the rack easily enough with no odd overhangs.
