i bought mine from these guys. i offered 350 shipped (without the finned pads, just regular) They came in complete packaging not OEM and within 10 days from the time i clicked buy.
edit: wow just checked CRC. fuck that is cheap.
almost worth throwing these on my little bike.

Don't do that. Go for XT on the little bike

Those will be more expensive than CRC because of the shipping cost. Go with CRC.

Or if you can do without the finned pads you can go for these:

Opps, thought it was Pounds. Approximately $10 CAD cheaper than CRC

However, customer service appears to be better at CRC:

- From the Best DH brake thread:

Still fucking waiting for Rose to get back to me and when I tried to ring there was no answer  their customer service is an absolute joke. Right now I don't even know if my brake has been received or processed for warranty by Madison so not sure if I'll even get a replacement after waiting all this time. It was sent off at least a month ago. I will never order from a non-UK store again, despite their prices being really good!

Also, considering going back to Avids. I prefer the lower profile lever design and when bled properly the lever feel is better to me. I don't like the Shimano bite point, it's too far in, and the blades are a bit small. They do stop well, though. And the bleed seems wayy easier than Avid. Guess I just kinda have a sour taste in my mouth after how easily it broke!

For anyone who cares, I got my warranty replacement (in the form of a refund) approved by CRC, 4 weeks after I sent them back . Once the refund is deposited back to Visa, I'll be buying the new M820! :woot: :rocker:

wrong again. rose shows the price WITH 19% VAT, crc is showing you the netto price if you display it in CAD.

Ok, then it's much cheaper in price, but it also depends on how much value you put in customer service…

i usually dont need the warranty departement that often, kind of lucky i guess. still i'm german and can deal with a german company on a different way than you guys. so its always a gamble. didnt hold me back from buying a bike and most parts in canada when i was over in 2010. imho bike parts get better and better and if a product isnt flawed from the beginning one can have a long usage out of them. you usually destroy them in an accident. so cheap prices is what i look for in the first place.

On a somewhat related note…
I phoned one of the LBS here and one set of Saints (without rotors) is $430. Online $253. I feel so sorry for the shops they are loosing out on so many sales. I dont blame them since their cost is likely way above the online price.

based on my knowledge of these things, yes. even if you were tight with an lbs that likes to move cool stuff but still wants to keep the lights on, you might find $350 per side.

Check my stuff for sale!
