I'm thinking of buying one for my 2001 ellsworth joker, since my current stratos shock exploded, and is now in peices…

what i want to know…

Have any of you tried a bike fitted with one, and prefferable used on for a long time, and if possible have you upgraded from another shock to the romic… if how noticable was the performance?

thanks,

Keith:D

romics r simple, better than a fox… cheaper than a 5th and also can be custom valved for riders weight and style

Didn't yours have to go back for service once Trev?

It would be helpful if you could tell him why it is better than a Fox.

I just bought a romic for my AC1 and it is amazing. In 6" mode standing mashing on the pedals it bobs maybe .2 of an inch. It is glorious on the drops and it took only 3 weeks instead of the estimated 6-8 weeks.

Cory, he had to send it back once because i think he bent the shock in a crash from hitting it sideways, i may be wrong
but a 5 day turnaround time is excellent warrenty service

..that was my point. If they have great service and fast turn around, that is another strength for a person interested in the shock. You are correct Ross, 5 day service is indeed hard to find!
