Just went into Rocky Cycle this morning planning to drop a bunch of cash. Walked into the store 4 employees working not even a hello, everyone busy doing there own thing.I was the only one in the shop.I walked out immediately:mad: Guess i won't be doing buisness there. On the other hand talked to Matt at Northshore bikes was very helpfull in everything i had to ask. Guess i'll be making the trip over from Surrey to spend my cash.

You're "that" customer who has one "bad" experience and then runs to the keyboard to bitch about it. How lo g were you waiting? Like 39 seconds? You're probably better off going to NV anyways.

I've walked in there many times to give them a chance to take my money and have yet to walk out with any merchandise…

i was in there for about 1/2 hour looking around. plenty of time for them to acknowledge me. I can see if they are busy but i was the only one there

If I go somewhere I go find someone and ask them for help if I need it. Last thing I want is a bunch of sales drones asking me if I need help. Call me what you will, but I love going to a shop where nobody bugs me.

anyways enough of my rant , i hope someone from Rocky cycles reads this and realizes they missed out on a $2500 sale. I sure won't be stepping foot in that store again. I do realize everyone has different experiences with different shops, but one of the first things is to at least acknowledge your customers

Maybe just call the shop and speak w/ the Manager? A little polite "heads up" can go a long way.
He/she may apologize and restore your faith in the shop. Then again, they may truly not give a sh*t…in which case no loss to you.

ditto,

but that does sound a bit weird. i've had similar experiences in new shops before, a bit of a turn off to be treated like you don't exist. but i don't know that i went home started shouting about it from the rooftops
