Rim suggestions

Dammit - looks like NOBL recently increased their pricing! Their wheels with Hope hubs used to be $1,495 just a few weeks ago and now they are up to $1,695. Perhaps this is due to the newer models (2017) being released? I'd like to buy a wheelset from them but struggle with the price… well moreso struggle with convincing my wife that it's a good use of our money.

Send em an email, they likely have some 2016 remaining…

I didn't have the heart to tell you at the time that those flashy, new Turbine wheels wouldn't last long. They're just way too pinner.

What sort of psi do you run? I'm a fan of the 25ish range… I'm not a super heavy guy, prob about 160 with gear.

I killed my rear after having burped the rear, not noticing, then hucking onto a rock on Pingu with an underinflated shock. (yes, I know… awesome move. I had just bolted the bike together…)

I run anywhere between 21 and 30psi in my tires. I like to run them at low pressures…feels so damn good. I don't really huck though….I plow and don't take too many chances…lol. But I am big dude riding a 29er…so that's gotta put some stress on those bad boys.
