There's something magical about going back to a fully rigid singlespeed again. It's been such a long time since I've ridden one that I'd almost forgot about how they were the entire reason I got into riding in the first place! First off, it forces you to pedal smoothly in circles and picking the right line is no longer an option, but a requirement. The weight savings and the power transfer is unrivaled. Everyone should own a singlespeed rigid! They're cheap, anyhow.
