Kona makes some rigid forks. They have a couple on their web site, but I believe there are more. I saw some at Cove Bikes, but I cannot remember if they had a disc brake tab, or v-brake bosses, or both.

Some sport swap places have them too. There's one in North Van, and there's one on Broadway (near MEC).

Check out the one from FUNN, Pip and Banshee helped design it, so it should be pretty sweet, 2 good companies working together should make a good product.

I have a surly 4" corrected one. Sweet, only 2.5 pounds. They're on bike room, mine was like 110 dollars.

It's something like $50 for v-brake only, and $100 for both disk and v-brake. Saw them today.

The forks are called something like Project #2.

No, the Project 2 is like the XC/commuter fork. The one you want is the Kona Jump Fork. Unfortunately, it's not suspension corrected. The axle to crown height is about the same as a '97 Z.2 Bomber with 63mm of travel (I didn't measure it, only eyeballed).

Oh, really? Because they used to be 2 different forks. The fork I had said nothing on it, it was just all black.

The forks I was referring to looked more light than beefy, and I would say that they're designed for road use, but I'd guess they are still quite strong.

hey i searched and found this forum….

what size fork is the DMR trailblade supposed to simulate or "correct"

are there any rigids that would simulate a 4inch fork?

I am not sure of any five in corrected normal droupouts rigids. but clifcat and funn both make em, and the woodman is 20mm, but not suspension corrected, and its alu and desinged for trials.

I have a 3-4 in corrected funn coming this week, im stoked….
