I never made this a "Chromag is shit" thread.

I have more than a little of their stuff. Two bikes, five saddles, three stems, bar, 2 (was 3) sets of Scarab pedals, etc….

Wasn't pointing you out at all Leggatt.

I don't doubt that the handbuilt Chromag frames are high quality but everything else looks like it comes out of a catalog from china with the Chromag name slapped on and since it's a "boutique" brand you get to pay more.

The last $100 Chromag Saddle I bought looked like a cheap piece of shit (actually it IS a cheap piece of shit) and I'd way rather have bought a cheap WTB instead if the LBS carried them.

For the record, I pulled the Cromag garbage off my bike after seeing this thread.

If they are Shimano you are likely good to go.

I am sooo dreaming of the new Shimano DH spd pedal……thanks for crashing it ;)

Are you a shareholder in Chromag?

I run Scarab pedals and they've been bomb proof.
I've also been running numerous Chromag products since the inception of the company and all those products are still running strong.

I've got a big F U to all you people calling their products shit.

I've also got a big F U to the haiku spewing BB. I had you on ignore for a while, took you off ignore, and now, still realize you've got shit all to say.

Official Chromag spokesperson I believe! Quality.

To the OP, it sucks your pedal snapped. I hope you and your child recover from the trauma. I also hope this doesn't steer you away from the awesome products that Chromag/NSB produce.

well, Ian was a bit more eloquent when he PM'd me asking why I thought the saddle I bought was crap, but your point has been taken nonetheless
