red romic boXXer stantions???

does any one know where you can get red romic stantions for boXXers and if they will fit 2002 boxxers..?

I have a friend who lives in Whistler and has the old world cups with the titanium nitride (gold) coating. It flaked like a mofo so he sent them to some shop in Van and they put the slippery silver on his existing stanchions for him (I'm almost positive it wasn't a RockShox shop). I know this doesn't answer your question, but I think it does show its possible to get a third party (not neccessarily romic) to coat your stanchions for you.

as far as i know those RED Romic stanctions never hit retail sale…

I have read a lot about Romic making lots of boxxer upgrades, such as the top crown and that hole that they drill in the bottom(not sure exactly). I saw a picture of a boxxer with red stantions that Romic was testing and I was wondering, since you ride for Rock Shox and Romic why team Maxxis was not testing it?

Dear Unknown-
This season Rock Shox was our team sponsor for front suspension and Romic for the rear. Although Romic was working on their own front suspension testing, Rock Shox was also working on some equally as exciting stuff. Unfortunately some of it not visible to the consumer like the Romic stantions were. Both companies are working to stay progressive in the industry and I think you will see some awesome stuff come from them in the future! Thanks for asking.
