Bull - I run a DHF 2.5WT on a 30mm id rim up front and it's awesome, you will be golden with your rims.

Hepcat/DC - good feedback on the HR II vs Aggressor. My thinking is that for riding in the summer in the Sea to Sky, the lower tread height on the Aggressor shouldn't be a big issue for cornering and braking traction in dry conditions, especially if I went 2.5WT (but then am I gaining anything in rolling resistance over a 2.4 HRII).

I should probably just run a DHR II MaxTerra in the back and forget about it all haha.

Ended up changing my mind at the last minute and went for the Maxxis Aggressor 2.5 WT - curious to see how it goes. Hoping it hits a nice balance between rolling resistance and grip.

I just switched from a 2.4 Aggressor on a 30mm id rim , to a 2.4 HR2 with a 35mm id rim . Did a mucky ride today with close to 30psi in it and it rocked . I was expecting some squirming around but it stuck to the roots and muck better than I thought. FYI running a 2.5 Shorty WT up front and really looking forward to this combo .
