I just spoke to Julian Coffey at Race Face about this.

There is no truth to this rumour at all. Of course this would be on record publicly if it was the case so it's not the sort of thing you could conceal the truth about.

I guess we can carry on!

Here's something else to quell the rumours.

VANCOUVER, BC - February 12th, 2010

Race Face's slopestyle assassin Paul B locks it in for 3 more.

Race Face Components Inc., one of North America[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;s leading producers of high-end mountain bike components, apparel and protection, is proud to announce the re-signing of arguably the most successful slopestyle rider in history, Paul Basagoitia.

Bas has relied on the Race Face high performance clothing and protection lines since 2004. Instrumental in the development and testing of the 2010 collection, Paul's apparel weaponry for 2010 includes the Dig Knee, Indy Short, and later this season he'll be one of the select Race Face riders running the all new Block Collection.

[HTML_REMOVED]#8220;Having Paul as a marquee rider for the last 6 years really is as good as it gets.[HTML_REMOVED]#8221; says Race Face[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;s Julian Coffey. [HTML_REMOVED]#8220;He is a premiere athlete that can be found on the podium at nearly every contest he enters. Bas always provides constructive product feedback, and is the consummate pro when it comes time to throw down for a photo or video shoot - what more could a sponsor ask for?[HTML_REMOVED]#8221;

Known for his steezy riding, Bas has carved out a near legendary niche in the hotly contested world of freeride and slopestyle. Race Face first signed the slopestyle sensation immediately following his breakout win at Crankworx in 2004. 2005 saw a Crankworx repeat win, and the rest, as they say, is history. The name Paul Basagoitia is a mainstay on the slopestyle competition circuit and is synonymous with smooth flowy lines and style for miles.

"I am so stoked to be riding for Race Face for another 3 years![HTML_REMOVED]#8221; says Bas. [HTML_REMOVED]#8220;They were one of my very first sponsors, and it[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;s good to have a long term deal with a company that is always supportive and has your back. The clothing line is right up there with the best of them, and the protection is second to none."

Look for an upcoming web video edit featuring Paul and other Race Face riders in and around Aptos, California. Fans can also expect to see some exclusive coverage by Race Face filmers of Basagoitia[HTML_REMOVED]#8217;s 2nd annual [HTML_REMOVED]#8216;All In or Nothing[HTML_REMOVED]#8217; invitational in the fall of 2010.

But I read it on Twitter - so that makes Cam a damn liar!

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

So why are North Shore Bikes blowing RF stuff out like they bought it for 10 cents on the dollar?

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I guess they are clearing out the inventory for them. Definitely some great prices if you don't mind the lack of warranty.

What's blowing my mind is the number of people who have skipped over your post Cam.
