The last pump I had clipped to my frame died a horrible death from grit ingress into it.
A new pump is now clipped to the side of the downtube via the bottle cage and I've already had to cover the head on a cut off piece of inner tube because Blackburn offer a swappable schrader-Presta head but the stupid cover doesn't fit into the Presta version.
But I've also got to stop grit getting into the rest of the pump mechanism - cover the rest in inner tube? Looks horrible, but would work.
Put the pump in my bumbag ? It's long and weird and I don't fancy falling onto it which is why I frame mounted it.
This pump is quite cheap but how are people protecting their spendy OneUp EDC pumps? Cover it in gorilla tape where the gaps appear - that would also double as a convenient source of gorilla tape...
