prototype dh rig
oh my…
hideous
that corner thing in front of the bb is just asking to be blown to pieces by a rock.
Its an unsusal design and hes a brave man to ride with those welds. It does bring up the - what would you design if you had a machine shop and the technical know how to design your own bike.
You can all go to hell. I'll be joining you shortly and I'm bringing beer and cheetos.
Wow, that's some bad attention to detail.

Props to him for giving something like that a shot, and being brave enough to ride on those welds.
Jeezus guys….its a prototype to see if the design works, not a final product…take it easy on the guy.
It looks like the machining was done with a hacksaw.
My mind is melting trying to work out how it actually works.
The prototypes for the Demo 9/8 were all made out of steel and pretty damn ugly as well. Steel is easy to cut apart and reweld.

ya I would like to see other people try and build a bike like that!

looks like a hukk

my country vs your country for hand made bikes any day.
anyway. it's an interesting design, and only a prototype.
how does the shock work?
i cant figure out how those link plates would compress the shock =/
This is why I was often saddened by other people's engineering projects in school…
edit: I should say though, props for getting it to the built up rolling stage.
It looks like a VPP style suspension. I'll try and draw a schematic later if I get a chance.
