bellingham Home Depot. Maybe US Home Depot will ship????

Bellingham Home Depot only has 2228 not 2229. The 2228 is the same stuff but .065" thick, not .125" thick like 2229.

See the pic above of my Wilson, that is 2228.

Good to know. I always have to double up where my shoes hit the chainstay. I'll try finding the 2229 when I'll redo my protection this winter.

on a suspended frame that allows you to detach the seatstays at the dropout (like my horst link vps) i would slide on rubber grips. doesn't last as long as some of the other options but looks much less ghetto.

Rubber grips would look as ghetto as this new method of cable security.

Not sure if Hockey stick tape has been mentioned already or not, but it's cheap [HTML_REMOVED] comes in various widths [HTML_REMOVED] doesnt leave any gummy mess.

Nope… comes off clean. Forgot to mention it's also available in many colours including clear. A $3 roll is probably enough to wrap your entire bike frame if you wanna knock yourself out ;D

Not in Canada.

There's a bunch of listing on Ebay.ca that will ship to Canada, not sure why the seller has to be in Canada…

Bump for update! I got 3M Mastic 2228 from Home Depot in Bellingham for $9.27 for 1"x10' roll. The difference is the 2228 is .065" thick, the 2229 mentioned earlier is .125" thick. They don't carry the 2229 though. Install was a breeze, the tape conforms well and sticks well. I will see if the thinner material is going to cut it, or else I will double it up.

Got my mastic tape on eBay from Taiwan for very cheap. Think it was $19 with free shipping for 10m roll of 50mmx1.65mm

This with a clutch derailleur and it sounds like I don't have a chain.

Just picked up one of these. Haven't tried it yet, but it's a fairly thick plastic sticker set. Probably won't help with chainstay noise, but will stop cable rub and chain marks.
