well boxxers need to be serviced more frequently.
Yeah, serviced once a week and replaced once a year. According to my experience.

AWESOME.
Seriously, think about the rainbow colored bike you could start to build up: violet handlebars with orange forks, pink or yellow frame and dark blue cranks and white wheels. Sick.

stay away from the brown acid
Race Face Atlas purple ano bars/cranks, purple 888 w/ green stanchions…with the parts available these days, one could certainly build up one trippy-ass bike indeed.
Colored grips, cranks, chainring, pedals, housings, bars, stem, painted springs. That's what I was going for with my DH bike until I sold it.
Pretty sweet!
I don't mind those at all. Maybe not the orange or that purply looking color but the white with the green looks pretty sharp.
Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.
they also call me "balloon"
I actually like them. I think the purple or orange would look alright if you had a bike with complimenting or the same colours. sweeet
I like them, what I dont like are the full on tld outfits with a million different colors I see in the lift lines. Thats considered ok but green stanchions are the devil? Id take the blue or white ones…and not service them for 2 years.
All jokes aside marzocchi forks (coil sprung, mind you) are quite reliable. But every fork can crap out, and every run of production has a shitty few.
Hope are making some matching cassettes
I like the 66ATA. Once I fixed it myself, it's going on close to a year with no problem.
I have the 2008 66ATA and it almost never feels good to me. Any advice you can share?
Well - I like the green one.
But - as my 2006 888 RC2X shows no sign of wearing out, I may be SOL. Probably just gonna paint the lowers to match whatever bike I put it on next…
I think everyone is with me when I say, man does marzocchi suck
Not me.
I'd sport the white/green combo and be totally happy with it. Marz forks are good, and the colors rip.
It wouldn't be hard to be as good as my 2010 Boxxer Team.
agreed.
I've never had to do so much maintenance on a fork for it to work consistently. It's holding up well with the abuse I give it, but not like my old 888's. Those were bulletproof.
