Power Meter Geekery Q?

Probably totally out in geekery left field and down a couple rabbit holes here but am interested in anyone's experiences with crank or bb based power meters on their set-ups here. Coming from a 2011 Titus Rockstar with threaded BB and a Cinch PM and RF Next SL cranks to a new to me/used 2019 RM Instinct BC Edition with BB92. Wondering what folks here would suggest as a good set-up for a crank based PM. This post ties in to my other about rock strikes on this forum. I was wondering about carbon crank and possibly even bb axle longevity with potential rock strikes as part of this. Love the RaceFace gear but was debating about Shimano crank and a Stages PM. Thoughts? Thanks for any input!

There's a Raceface Cinch power meter, I think. Should be as simple as an axle swap for you.

While on the topic of power meters, anyone have any experience with one sided vs two sided? How common is it to have a 3% difference between your legs?

Also, anyone have a reason to go stages vs 4iiii?

my power meter equipped colleagues at rapha all have the power2max ngeco and swear by them. they measure both sides (if you buy the 50eur update) and you can get them for most spider type cranksets.

@sethimus was looking at the NGECo set ups but do not see many, if any options for 30/32t single rings. Then again I’m a bit of a digital caveman so perhaps the clubs don’t help when clicking ;)

Was debating about that but cannot find a set of 165mm Cinch cranks for the life of me.

afaik all of the mtb ones are 104 bcd, so any ring should fit?

@rahrider I use a dual sided Rotor pm on my road bike. Have not definitively measured watt discrepancies left to right so cannot comment. I do hear though that identifying a large discrepancy can help with focused pedaling practices to regain that balance.
