I've used that exact Bel-ray for years on different brands of forks. Guess what? No effect.

Reputable source says fully synthetic motor oil is just fine. Ran it in my Pike for the past year.

Likewise, although granted, I never realised it contained seal-sweller, and might have avoided it had I read the label. I've since switched to Motul oil and can't say I've noticed a difference. Curious…

Me too. I have a bottle of Belray and two bottles of Motul in the garage right now, and using either hasn't affected performance negatively at all.

I have 3 bottles of Bel-Ray (various oil weights). Never had an issue in my Fox, Marz, Rock Shox or Manitou forks.

$10 a bottle at the local Moto shop.

Ditto (for lubrication oil). Zero probs.
