Pike oil change only takes like half an hour and is easy why the hell haven't I been doing this myself regularly all along?

Drive side and non-drive side? Thankfully, the same amount of oil goes in each lower but it's not clear (to me) - the SRAM guide even refers to spring and damper side.

If I was to guess I'd say drive side was the same side as my chain/mech ? But guesses don't tend to work out too good for tool work

Yes, drive side is the same side as your cassette and chainring (the right side). Spring side will be the left side of the fork, damper side will be the right side of the fork (for a Pike).
