Anyone have any good recommendations on DH bikes for 5 ft tall 12 year olds.
Giants (Reigns and Faiths)come nice and small so they look good. Also the TR250 (if you win the lottery) and maybe the Norco Truax look pretty awesome.

My 12 year is riding a reign X. It is holding up fine as a park bike for him and is also great for all-mountain and free-riding. If you want something a bit burlier I think Caps May still have some extra-small Norco DH bikes in stock.

Norco shore or six from 2008+. Big bend in the top tube should give it good standover and they're tough bikes that will stand up to teenager abuse.

The Giant Reign SX in size XS works perfect for our 12 year old. He is about 5'2". Light, has a chain guide, 6.7" travel. You can put a front derailleur on it as well.

My eight year old is on a bline (he is 4'11"!!) and once I got a decent spring for the shock and an air fork it seems to be doing alright in the bike park, but it is HEAVY!

wait until the bikepark closes this year and then buy him an xs reign x. cheap, light, and with a burly build. pretty ideal.

Cove bike shop has some small kona that looks like a tiny stinky slopestyle bike called a 2x4 or something, it might even be too small. cant really remember exactly how small it is lol

The Kona 24 has a 28.5" standover height. Nice beginner bike for a kid.
