pads for skinny legs

Sorry if this is redundant, but I searched the site and didn't find any threads that were really relevant to my question. OK, so here's what I'm wondering. What's a good option for a guy with skinny legs, and needs a good set of hardshell knee and shin guards. I'm not too finicky about the price, as long as it stays reasonable. I really just want a pad that will stay in place on my skinny bird legs when I stack, and offer me good protection.

As a ending note Ive tried getting bigger calves and that didn't work, so I'm looking for realistic options. Thanks.
P.s. new to the Seattle area and need help finding places and people to ride with. Anny help there would be much appreciated.

I'm not the burliest guy around and I've found the Fox Launch pads to fit well, not move around to much and they've lasted me over 2 full seasons.

Dainese is my call. They seem to wrap around girly calves well. The Pro (2?) are the best option IMO, the sock keeps them more secure than the freestyle which were designed to be worn under pants.

I have quite thick legs for my height (or lack thereof) and I find many pads have these straps that would only fit mutants. Way too long. Like the Roach/Race Face ones I usd to use. Plus the dumb straps just got longer with use. But I got some nice Dainese that fit well. Best I have tried that i think would be good for skinny legs.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I have semi-small legs because I'm still growing but I use the sixsixone 4x4 pads. They aren't hard shell but I have never had any problems with them. They are light, protect you more than enough, and have many straps to hold them in place. The one problem I see with them is the breathability is not that great. But they can fit under jeans well if you like that.

Cheap too.

BeastGear's pads work quite good in my opinion.

Anything long enough to go the full length of your shins. That way they'll sort of sit on the top of your shoe and can't slide down. Roach/RaceFace is decent that way. I've got skinny legs and I find that most stuff mentioned just slides off my knees within about 5 minutes. I also buy the larger ones and trim the bottoms off to fit. Sometimes you gotta trim the straps too.

I didnt like the Dianese pads after a few months of use. They seemed to stretch.

I'm now using the TLD hard shell shin/knee set, no problems since they have a good strap retention system goign ong.
