Yes there is a lot out there right now. Cotic has the glimmer of my eye at the moment - I like unique.

Yea they have a nice steel design 29er. REEB has my eye , hand built aluminum , and you can tweaked the angels if you want.

Wow just checked out their site, pretty rad! I found a Jeff Lenosky vid where he goes to the factory and watches his bike being milled, welded and assembled which is machinist porn. Pretty cool!

The lines and aesthetic of the Flaremax and Rocketmax really speak to me. The Reeb Sqweeb is interesting looking though, wasn’t aware of the customisable options. Need to look in a bit deeper.

Agreed , they are a very cool looking design. The Starling is cool as well. The Sqweeb is very appealing. Only parts I need for a direct swap frame wise is the BB. See what the spring looks like. GG is reportedly doing a bigger 29er as well. They leaked a image a week or two back.

I swung a leg over and pedalled a GG Smash while in Denver this summer. Good feeling bike for sure, they hinted there were some paint options coming for 2020 as well. Their Secret menu opens up some options too.

The leaked image from GG was the PB giveaway bike with bling suspension. I don't think we'll see a LT 29er from GG in 2020. We've got two Smashes in the garage [metal and carbon]. They are pretty sweet all round bikes for Coastal BC riding. :)

If I suddenly came into some $$ I wouldn't mind flying to the EU and buying one of these custom steel FS bikes:

Unfortunately they won't sell to Canada/US due to product liability insurance costs. :(

Raaw had the same issues until recently. They are still on my list . They are designed around a 51mm fork offset as well. I have a 51mm offset, unsure how the other designs will work with it. Most forks today are 42/44mm .

Everyone credible who I have seen test various offset forks on the same bike has said something similar...the handling is a bit different, but nothing you won't adapt to within a few rides. So I don't think it's a deal breaker either way. FWIW - I'm running a lower offset fork on my Smash than it was designed for.

If you ever wanna sell one of those, I’m shopping and local to you...

Hey Tashi. If you are local you are welcome to throw a leg over the GG bikes we have to get some help with sizing, but we are keeping these bikes for the long haul. I'm 2 seasons in with mine and it's setup really well for me so I'm not even remotely thinking of selling it.

Yeah I thought that was likely the case.

Thanks for the offer, very kind but I’ll probably be ordering a Hightower soon, it’s time for a fully supported new frame for me. Unless something awesome comes up used...

I'll wait until we see how that bolt on lower shock mount fares.
