My google skills fail me. Where should/can I buy one NEWEST model, complete(disc too) Shimano Saint front brake from? The price difference needs to be substantial btw for me to not buy at the Cafe. I don't even know what msrp is.

I think you can get the 19% tax back too..

no singles with discs though.

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

Shimano's don't come with rotors…

I just sold one for $250. That is close to wholesale price.

CRC is usually the cheapest at $260.

starbike.com

I think 2 cost me $380 including the shipping. They - the 19% vat before you check out once you list Canada as the shipping destination it does that for you.

It seems those^ guys are just over in Kelowna.

So it looks like I'd need a new hub too eh? Is a center lock disc mount the thing now or a one-off?

…or is there a 6bolt rotor that would work with the Saint brake?

Odd that CRC only has moto options. $245/end. If you were buying both it wouldn't matter as it is dead simple to swap sides.

Try to have a fair conversation with your LBS. I was very surprised at what mine did for me on a set.

Yes there is 6 bolt options. Look for the Saint/XT rotors in 6 bolt config. Not sure where you are planning on getting them from though

Why slag free swag?

I'll always give the LBS a shot at selling me what I want. It's never been an issue before actually…as I was either buying a complete bike or stuff under $100 one purchase at a time kinda thing so the price differences don't matter. Support the LBS.
But I do have to think about a bigger purchase like this where the price difference could be 2 or 3+ $20 bills difference in one shot…
