I need new tires to replace my worn out Kenda Kinetics and have narrowed it down to two tires. The Maxxis Highrollers 2.5" and the Intense EX 909 2.5". I cannot fit over a 2.5". Which one would be the best tire for freeriding?

I'm not a fan of either, sorry. I would recommend 2.5 Michelins in a heratbeat.

I have tried quite a few intenses and I must say I really like the overall feel of them. That is what I would go for but I have never tried the Highroller.

i would say yes to highroller cause i have been riding one for a long time and it is holding up really well, but i also ride a .243 duro tire and those are excellent for all around riding.

last one there is a penis pump!!

I have the 2.7 Intense 909EX. So far they are holding up well. The Nokian NBX DH 2.5 and the Michelin 2.5 would be my other choices.

drifting…yet again…

^ for that i would get the 909, but i think a michilen 2.5 would be the best, or maxxis minons. highrollers are terrible in lose rocks and mud imo.

the 909 looks like a better tread pattern for you. but seriously the 2.5 michinlen is sick.

Intense tires for you sir….

they excel in those conditions…

if u ride on wet/rooty trails i'd suggest teh Michelins…

i dotn care for Maxxis at all… not that its a bad tire i just think there are better options out there..such as the tires listed above…
