Onza tire blowout (no catastrauphic failure involved)

Picked up three onda tires from CRC last week (33$ each). Tried the ibex tonight - 29x2.4 and around 900g. Rolls fast. Good traction (at night on wet and frozen terrain). Figured I'd pick up a few more if I liked it. Went to buy more after my experience tonight and they are now $25!

have 7 more tires on their way ($183 for 7 tires!). Now that I have my share of this deal, thought I'd pass it along.

The ibex is like a leaner minion with slightly smaller and more spaced out lugs and lighter. Size is pretty normal 2.4

The aquilla is around 1000g in 29x2.4. Much like a highroller.

The Citrus is over 1100 in 29x2.4 and is more or less a meatier highroller with a heavier casing.

I saw these and couldn't find any information about them...except that Gwin rides the Aquilla's

I've used a 2.4 Ibex in the rear, no complaints

figured for $25 ea I might as well try out the Ibex and Aquilla

You are absolutely right - it is the Citrus I got, not the Cannis. Otherwise the info was correct.

The Ibex I got was 120tpi, I think the 60tpi version is a little heavier (a little over 900)

They market them all as universal front/rear. I have the Ibex out front. Was riding down steep double black with frozen rocks/roots tonight and found my front felt more stable than my rear max terra DHR. I'm getting a new 29er shortly and think I will just run the IBEX back and front for a nice balance of fast rolling and nice grip in the corners.

I also compared the 2.4 Aquilla against a WT EXO Minnion DHF and would say that they look about the same width so I expect them to inflate generously.
