No bondo as far as I can tell…. did someone have a big chunck fall out of their frame or something?

seand stripped down his frame for painting and found several areas that had been bondo'd and painted over by the factory.

Nice Legend!!!!

For the Iron Horse, do yourself a favor and go over the thing with a fine tooth comb. Too many people I know had too many problems with their sundays.
Zero quality control.

39.5lbs as is (with heavy steel spring), not a super light build, but it is a looker!

Hey!!!! WTF, you know the rules..

what is the first step to losing serious bike weight? going tubeless?

im 98[HTML_REMOVED]#37; for sure getting a new bike within the next week, coming with nevegal tires on WTB laserdisk FR rims… is it possible to convert this combo?

bike has boxxer wc and dhx 3, so im pretty sure thats the lightest combo without changing to an air shock.. or are the fancier dhx shocks lighter even with their adjustability. avid codes arent the lightest choice, but i'll need to test them out for a couple months before i change to a lighter alternative. e-13 lg1 is probably the lightest non-gamut chainguide around, no? bike is coming with stock X-7 shifter and derailleur, which i will most likely swap for X-9

any tips?

bikes:
04 norco 4by w/ 05 sherman firefly :(
07 KTM 144sx :)

I like to throw up prior to dropping into a-line. I find it makes jumping easier.

wow that must be one seriously light build, cos the flatline isn't exactly a light frame at 11.5lbs with shock. nice.
