^it’s amazing here, since we have a great network of snowshoe-built and groomed trails! Definitely makes for a different experience than summer riding - less radical, but lots more exploration.

We've also finally got some snow in the ground in MN. I'm very happy Walt talked me into long chainstays, this bike climbs even loose, powdery hills like a tractor. As long as you apply power smoothly, it feels like it can climb anything.

It's not perfect, but 2.8 Cake Eaters on i30 wheels fit with a little space to spare on the Solaris. We need much more trail traffic before it's legitimately fun to ride on a nonfat bike.
