If you go for an HG driver, you can get your cogs and spacers from Endless /Wolftooth etc and then if you change back, you're pre-approved for Linkglide/CUES/11spd shimano. Worth looking into a steel HG driver as well, based on the gouging I receive.

After furiously looking into it, am arriving at the same conclusion.
Apparently there's a Deore linkglide too somewhere...
Maybe 12 speed with Paul's thumbies would be a nice HT style solution too. Wonder if they're compatible with Shimano 12 speed. I saw Paul mention in a video that he has thumbies for Sram 12 speed.
Dan - I'm running Hope stainless Steel HG free hubs on all my rear hubs. It means you can use cheap cassettes and not destroy the FH.
This is the way.
Hope is all over my FS build and I'm trying valiantly to kill my Vault hubs on my HT so the wheels can be brought into the fold. I'm assuming that other manufacturers make steel HG drivers?
Final incarnation for some time now.
Deity bars + shorter stem let me create more pressure over the front end and sit more upright while pedalling. I had to switch to some ergons instead of the usual waxes to modify pressure on my palms.
Butchers and Hillbillys are performing well in the current conditions especially for the price. These are the older T7 compound in grid trail and I've got T9s ready for next year on the FS build. They're a great tire and very very easy to mount up, a 5 minute job from scratch over cushcore which is a record for me.
Hope T4E4s are excellent but I found the organic racing green to work ok for a while then become shuddery no matter how many times I cleaned/sanded/re-bedded in the rotors and pads. Going back to sintered fixed any issues and will be my go to compound from now on.
Daggas are pedals I have really enjoyed in the last 2 years, I didn't think I would end up with a position on pedals, but they work really well for me and I don't see me trying anything out. They have had a rebuild and are quite easy to do if the parts are in stock. They were a complete fluke purchase as I needed pedals and due to supply chain issues, these were the only ones in stock.
Can't fault the raceface Vault hubs and Arc rims. When they die I will move on but a solid wheelset. Drivetrain is shimano 1x11 and will eventually be replaced by linkglide but I haven't had any issues whatsoever with the setup which keeps on going. Lots of wax chain prep for a clean look
Yari/Lyrik frankenstein form is there as the SelvaC is going to the new FS build. Nothing interesting going on there, a full service will do me and I will try to hold off on adding any upgrades - ok maybe a Luftkappe which my friend has offered - as I can wait out until next years Black Friday.
It goes up, it goes down and also along. It doesn't do too great on rough fast trails lon Seymour like C-Buster/Corkscrew but I'm enjoying slowing down on the bike and making everything real smooth. Upper Oilcan/Ladies/Lower Crippler/Boundary/Pingu/Pangor are where I enjoy riding - and my local lunch rides usually just have flow and XC which lets me concentrate on body position and side hits.
Possibly it's overforked/over slacked as my hardtail ride but as Yngwie said "How can less be more? More is more"

We didn't expect to have a snow ride today, but it was fun to play in the white stuff.
It was really slippery slushy snow and that made it a very technical ride even on mild trails.
I love snow riding so this ended up being a nice treat.

Alas, poor Yarik is 160mm (Yari lowers with Lyrik uppers - no performance upgrade - the Yari stantions had scratches and there was a Lyrik upper sitting around). It's good enough for now and a service should make all the difference
Who had the singlespeed rigid Sirius with the thicker crown race?

Thanks. I'm enjoying the change in seasons. Daytime it was ~6C/~43F. It's green in town. You have to climb up to the snow. Kind of perfect. You can have snow if you want it and if you don't just stay lower.
