I'm joking of course but I still rock my Dakine apex

So, I ordered an Arrival a few weeks ago, but heard yesterday WAO are no longer supplying the Arrival in any form outside of North America. Guessing, it sounds like they've not been able to scale production up and reduce cost per unit enough to make it wholesaleable.
Unfortunately I was told even existing orders are cancelled, deposits being refunded.
This puts my search back to square one…

The Arrival was the only bike you were considering?
There are obviously other bikes out there (although buying a 157mm king hub is painful now I’m unlikely to need it) but at the point I placed an order it was the only one I was considering.

Ouch, time to shop Knolly?

I was just going to say the same thing, but if I had my heart set on a made in Canada carbon bike, a chunky aluminum knolly would not suffice.
Sorry to hear about the disappointment. Will the place you bought your king hub allow you to exchange it for a regular boost?
Although I am not a fan of the 157 hub I do like the fact that Knolly's are metal.
The firebird was a contender and is again - seems pretty balanced. I’m right between sizes on a Chilcotin.
Spire
Although the country of origin and ethos are obviously very different, seems like an Orbea might be fairly close in terms of ride feel to a WAO Arrival? Alternatively, if you want to go metal, maybe a Geometron G1 with the upcoming short-travel kit?
I second the Nicolai / Geometron suggestion. I'm tired to buy and deal with misaligned frames, the next one I'm getting will be made by those guys. Plus no paint on the frame means one less thing to worry about for me 😅

It’s 2022 and I’m still too stupid to upload an image in these forums. ;-)
I would throw the Banshee Prime/Titan in there as well...great bikes. My buddy has the Arrival and they are very similar designs...but I like the stack height of the Prime much more, and it's metal!

Also one of the few frames not going to Trunnion shock mounts.
Top contenders to replace G16 are of course G1 with all the options and Nucleon 16 (which I found out uses SuperBoost 157 😐)
