458 is a very long CS. Is that cause you are running plus size 29er?

I think it will fit up to a 3in tire. need a few bits still.

going to be:

36 or ?? @150 44mm offset

Nobl TR33/Onyx sprags (cause I have them)

XTR Brakes/Shifter/der/cranks (M9000 cause I have them)

One up Bar/stem/post/grips

Bontrager XR5 2.6 (I really like the G5s on my ebike they shred)

maybe try some inserts.

Syncros XM1.0 (I have one on another bike, really like it.

Wow that looks awesome! Did you specifically spec 3.0 tire clearance? I spec'd my Waltly for 2.8 and though I haven't tried I'm pretty sure 29x3.0 will fit.

I just finished this bike with cast off drivetrain parts and wheels while I wait out an XT crank to complete a build for the squishy bike. It has a Works -2° headset and cush core in the tires in an atempt to make it rip. It's pretty fun but I really suck at the rigid shredding probably just too old but being so I love the clean up.

Pics? What bike is it?

I can't figure out how to post photos here. Sad story.

Nice looking bike. :-)

I'll be keen to hear your thoughts on how it rides. That On One frame caught my eye a while back. Your version looks amazing in Ti.

Finally I figured it out. Or my crappy phone did. Any how...2021 kona unit with a -2° works headset.  I ditched the spds after one ride and went back to flats and ended up with the chainstays in the shortest setting after trying the longest.

That thing looks awesome but it needs more bikepacking bags.

I'm too cooler-centric for bikepacking this thing is for mud. The bag in the picture just blew a zipper, lame!

I have one of these, 1L capacity, it's been great and the zipper is beefy. If your blown zipper can't be replaced, I mean.

Now with a real fork

I tried a real ride rigid and quickly decided I am not a fully rigid rider. Ouch brutal on the arms. I ordered a Marz Z2 from the parking lot. The fork is set at 120 right now and the bike steers weird for sure, I am going to try it at 100 and see if that helps. Its not terrible but floppy somewhat at the initiation of a turn. I also went with the 44mm offset as that was what was available. I think the added stack of the works headset and the longer fork are most likely the culprit.
