2017 NS Eccentric Cromo, love this bike so much I sold my FS and decided against another, used the money to properly tart this up instead!

Chromag WideAngle M/L with -2 headset and Fox 36 forks. My go to bike for everything but bike park.

How do you like the angle set? You HA is roughly 63deg now? I find the 65 they come stock with a little steep.

A cheaper alternative would be the superstar components slackerizer headset. It should be model T7-2, based on the details you posted:

I have just put a Superstar angle set in my frame to replace a Works.  So far so good and it was £10 cheaper than the Works.

I like it. Slacker is better (to a point) with the hardtail geometry as it’s only the front end that sags. It rides really really well at that head angle, I was surprised at the difference. I also put 160mm Fox 36 forks on there in place of the 150mm 34 fields I had for the first year of ownership. It charges through stuff with a lot of confidence now

Cool 👍

I installed one in my 2018 cotic bfe 26er to slightly offset the rather extreme angles it got with a 160mm durolux.

And I bought a second set for my Ti Honzo to go with a 150mm 36, but that's still waiting to be installed.

Do you have a better picture of the head tube with the angleset installed? Looks like you gained some height on the top. Did it raise the bottom too?

I also put a 160mm fork on. I found the 150mm not enough. With how dynamic the head angle and handlebar height is I am surprised they speced such a short head tube. Just put a 35mm rise bar so I can remove some spacers, make it look cleaner.

Here’s a zoomed in version, sorry about the quality. I’ve also included the geometry calculations so you can see what the 160mm fork in conjunction with the -2 headset did for me

Looking for the same thing for my wide angle. Which headset did you get exactly? The works site is confusing

Thx

I wouldn't normally ask a guy on the internet to post a naked picture, but in this case I'll make an exception. We need to see it. ;-)
