575mm fork (160mm travel), 440mm chainstay, 29, 2.4/2.5 EXO+ tires, 55mm drop.

hehe. Well yeah. My FS bike has160mm of travel and a slightly longer wheelbase so yeah.

How do you like the Macride?

Love it. We used the ibert for quite some time for both our kids, it worked well for its purpose but the macride is more fun and our kids enjoy it more. 

With the ibert if you took the seat out you're still left with that dagger aimed straight at your crotch. The macride is easier to get on and off, and also leaves nothing in the way once it is off.

Used it for my daughter til she was just over 5, and my 4 yo son is on it now. Only thing is they enjoy it so much it makes them a bit lazy from riding their own bikes. Back when they could both fit it they would also fight over who would get to ride it.

My Meta Chromo in winter with Alberta winter rubber. Fresh wheels on it, might swap out to a 36 or lyrik this year but we'll see.

That's a nice rig, what year is that?  Looks like pretty modern geo with the steep seat tube angle?

2018 Wideangle. Modern geo but I wish the HT angle was more slack.

Angleset would work on that to slacken the front end?

I have a -2 degree headset from Works Components on my ‘18 WideAngle. Made an already fun bike an awesome bike. Slackened the head angle, steepened the seat angle. 

I put on a 50mm stem in place of the 40mm to counter the slightly shorter top tube length because of it.

Which onza? 

I've been using the onza tires this winter on some of my bikes. I think I like then better than my maxxis tires. How have you liked that one?

That's the 27.5 x 2.85 Canis. On a hardtail with 27.5+ rear, I like tire patterns with more smaller knobs placed closer together to help with rolling resistance and I find it gives better traction. I've tried a 2.8 dhf/dhr and they are ok, but they are slow and the taller more aggressive knobs don't offer any better traction for me

Looking for the same thing for my wide angle. Which headset did you get exactly? The works site is confusing

I've been running the Aquila and the Ibex. I was worried the compound would be too hard as they are a 55a/65a but they seem pretty soft. the centre knobs are pretty similar to a max terra and side knobs seem to be more like a maxx grip.

I found the Aquila has a bit of a gap between the centre and side knobs and once you learn to trust the side knobs will grab, you can lay the bike down. The transition between centre and side knobs was a bit nerve wracking at first but now that I trust the tire more, it is pretty awesome. The Ibex is lighter with wider spaced knobs and I liked it a lot right from the first minute.

I can't believe I got them for under $30! What a steal. Glad some others are finding them to be as good as I have.
