for park abuse I swap out the wheels, tires and drivetrain and it's good to go.

Lowcard, can you speak more to the Garbaruk cassette?  i've heard of it only once prior, what's it all about?

It looks like it would be worth a try for sure.  It definitely wins on weight (25% lighter than equivalent XT Cassette) and range is similar.  Their website has a good comparison chart near the bottom.

Im still going with an XT 11-42T + OneUp 47T, which is cheaper than a Garbaruk, but definitely heavier.

Let us know how it holds up?

Myself and a couple of friends are putting in an order soon.

It is 1 piece machined steel (with aluminum large cog), only sub 300g, and only $300usd. And it looks tits! Seems too good to be true, but worth a try imo.

I have an XT with a One Up Shark right now. While it works flawlessly, those XT cassettes are boat anchors. I have to save weight anyway, since I am running a coil shock, a heavy fork, post, and Saint brakes hahaha

My 2013 Banshee Prime,

What's that sucker weigh?

And where as per their http://bansheebikes.com/dealer-map/ ? Nearest dealer in Kelowna whose web page goes 404, shop in Kootenays whose website was last updated in fall '17 and a coffee shop in Cal who sells bikes on the side. Really?

Place in Ferndale don't even list Banshee.....

Oh, I have been itching for 2 years! I test rode a few bikes last year and none were better than the Prime, I would love to ride a Orbea Rallon, Transition Sentinal and Marin Wolfridge. The Starling Murmur looks pretty friggin cool too...so many good bikes out there right now.

It's around 32 pounds...not a lightweight, but neither am I...lol. CK hubs, LB rims, SixC bars and cranks....everything on this build has been bullitproof...so good!

I know there is a dealer in Nakusp...great shop called Shons, but other than that I do not know who is a dealer anymore. Banshee changed up their NA distribution a while back...maybe contact them to see what's up!
